Pale oak houses are “creaking” their way into the hearts of Minecraft builders after the recent the Pale Garden biome update.

This ghostly biome harbors interesting resources such as pale oak, pale moss carpets, and the new hanging pale moss, while in the night lurks the menacing Creaking mob.
So check out this list of creative pale oak builds and start making your own – unless you want to be left without shelter and in the dark!
1. Quaint Pale Oak House

A neat and cozy house will never go out of style in Minecraft, and this two-story build by BeeCreative fits the bill perfectly.
The roof of this house is made with deepslate and pale moss, similar to the roof of the starter house by Paterkid listed earlier. Other materials consist of deepslate, shroomlight, creaking hearts, and pale oak leaves.
Although the use of creaking hearts gives me the jitters, this pale oak house is still among my potential pale garden biome builds.
2. Large Pale Oak & Chttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEdSj_RdT9cherry Wood House

Want to try creating a different but similarly spacious house? Then, this beautiful large house constructed using pale oak and cherry trees will be a suitable choice.

3. Pale Oak Alchemist’s House

This intriguing pale oak alchemist’s house by Enchanted.Architecture has some pretty unique color combinations obtained using crimson wood, pale oak, and deepslate.
The glow berries and vines hanging from the base of the first and second floors of this stilted house elevate the magical feel.
I’d probably erect this cool alchemist’s house for my cleric villager if I was going for an entire pale oak village build.
4. Pale Garden Cottage

There’s something witchy about this beautiful pale oak cottage in the woods, don’t you think?
Run your eyes over its tall, pointed roof and light blue terracotta walls contrasted against the white wood. It’s splendid to behold!
It’s not often that I come across a blue house I like so much.
Creator, CottonVelvet, has uploaded a relaxing, long-play video showing the making of this build in detail. Check it out.
5. Cozy Pale Oak Cabin

If a cozy little cabin in the woods is your kinda starter house, check out this cute build by Nushi.
It’s a one-room affair made mostly out of pale oak blocks, of course. It uses deepslate to provide a nice contrast to the light wood walls.
Apart from these two materials, you will also need a bit of spruce, stone and bamboo. The cabin comes attached with a small garden/farm on one side.
The simple foundational base design means you can expand its size according to your needs. It makes for a great starter house in Minecraft.
6. Creaking Shack House

Next is the Creaking Shack house by Minecraft builder, GraySun, that fits right into the haunting landscape of the pale garden biome.
The textured roof made using brown, yellow, and orange colors of terracotta, dark oak trims, honeycomb blocks, and jack o’lanterns brilliantly compliment the light gray color of the pale oak leaves and the white color of the stripped pale oak logs.
Although a YouTube tutorial is not available currently, the image of this house has been posted on GraySun’s socials, including Pinterest and Instagram. You can also download this build from GraySun’s Patreon page.
7. Crescent Moon Pale Oak Survival House

Moving on from the cool and creepy to the whimsical, we have this survival house in the shape of a crescent moon with a house on its lower horn.
What is even more outlandish is that the house is actually an aquarium for tropical fish.
Check out the tutorial video by ManDooMiN and reserve a prime spot for this landmark feature of your village.
A lot of pale oak and black and white stained glass are needed, as well as smaller amounts of andesite, pale oak leaves, pale hanging moss, pale moss carpet, white candles, and gray carpet will be needed.
Read through this list for another one of ManDooMiN’s striking creations.
8. Two-Story Pale Oak & Deepslate House

Another fantasy-themed Minecraft creation that you will like is this black and white, two-story build.
The materials used in this construction were mainly pale oak, deepslate, stone brick, gray stained glass, and pale moss.
The tall A-frame roof, along with the anvils and lanterns on the roof ridges, make this a standout piece.
9. Small Pale Oak Survival House

Want to add some cozy vibes to your pale garden biome? Try this small and beautiful survival house by Nushi.
You will be required to gather pale oak, stone bricks, diorite, deepslate, and cobbled deepslate for this build.
I have added this survival house to my list of future builds and cannot wait to start creating it.
10. Pale Oak Starter House with Fantasy Tower

This starter house by Paterkid makes for quite a Studio Ghibli-esque Minecraft build with its fantasy tower and wonky brick chimney.
The pale moss roof with pale oak steps for the roof trim is also quite pretty.
I made this house in my Minecraft Realms world and loved it! Do try it for yourself.
11. Pale Oak And Deepslate Starter House

13. Pale Garden Survival House

There’s something so appealing about tiny Minecraft houses, that I just can’t get enough of them. Naturally, I had to include this cottage by Zaypixel in my list.
If you noticed, the creator has cleverly decorated the jungle leaf blocks hanging from the roof with resin clumps to give them a cool, blossoming effect.
The interior has been as thoughtfully designed as the exterior. The house comes with a basement as well as a bedroom and a library.
You will need plenty of pale oak wood and deepslate to complete this build.
14. Small Pale Oak and Cherry Blossom Starter House

Here’s another build using a pleasing combination of pale oak and cherry trees. This small starter house is certainly picturesque and cozy.
The best part is the very less number of materials that are required for this build.
Watch the tutorial video by ChowderFin, and of course, find these two biomes to acquire the required blocks.
15. Pale Garden Tree House

As brave as I believe I am, the spooky creaking mobs in the pale garden biome still unnerve me. So I thank AvidPixel for this build tutorial of a pale garden tree house.
With this tree house, I can safely keep on watch on the entire pale garden in all directions.
Pale oak, pale moss carpet, pale hanging moss, resin bricks, and creaking hearts are some of the materials needed for this build. Yes, you read that right! Creaking heart blocks were used.
I don’t know about you, but I would place a few extra beds in my tree house just to be safe.
16. Medieval Pale Oak House with Tower

Here’s a medieval-themed house with an adjacent tower that looks quite magnificent.
I especially like the detailing of the dark oak fences in the tower’s corners, as well as the choice of dark oak trapdoor and gates as the awnings of the tower windows.

I really like the creative interior designs of this cube house as well.

19. Pale Oak Survival House

The build inspiration pictured above comes from Minecraft’s official Instagram account.
It shows an easy-to-build Survival house crafted with white wood from pale oak trees, pale oak logs and resin blocks. The roof appears to be made from deepslate blocks.
The cool decorative touches include Seeing Eye flowers which bloom at night, pale moss carpets and hanging pale moss.
20. Simple Pale Oak Starter House

This pale oak starter house is probably the quickest build that can be made once you chance upon a pale garden biome.

If there was something that was missing in terms of wood choices for cherry blossom houses in Minecraft, it was definitely pale wood.
The A-frame roof of this cottage really adds to its overall charm. You will mainly require pale oak, cherry, glass, and pale moss for this dwelling.
22. Pale Oak Manor

Creating a stately looking and modern house in your Minecraft village has got a lot easier with the pale oak wood set.

Watch the build tutorial by Kinu to create your own pale oak survival house.
24. Pale Oak House on Stilts

This build is the second stilt house included in this list. There is something very apt about stilt houses in the pale garden biome because of the creaking mob and the safety of higher ground and a wide view of the surroundings.
Also, you should remember to place a lot of lanterns at the ground level of the house to ensure that no unwelcome mobs gather at your base.
